- experimental beast created and controlled by Fyorine

- can turn anyone and anything into plush, including the ground, trees, cave walls, etc. Fyorine doesn't see much use for this power though, and mostly uses it as a spy

- the little blue fly-shaped things are actually motes of light that it can see through, and can travel a great distance from its "body"

- loathes Clade because his bees attack them, confusing their motes for a rival colony

- hasn't had an opportunity to develop much of a personality of its own, but is noticeably loyal to Fyorine. she doesn't treat it like a person though, so it has never learnt to be one

- often gets carried around by hatchlings who think it's a toy. doesn't mind this, but is confused and somewhat curious about why they do this, since it is unfamiliar with the concept of "play"
