In a quiet, ancient forest, you might find her. A tiny dragon with wings fluttering like fallen leaves and sturdy branches sprouting from her head, she moves with a timid gracefulness among the trees, whispering under her breath. With her soft-spoken words, she encourages the ancient trees to grow while acknowledging the hardships they have endured. With delicate claws, she plants their seeds, covering them carefully with warm, rich soil, showering them with cool, clear water from a nearby stream.

Juniper lives a solitary life, that is, at least, if you don’t consider trees adequate company. She certainly does and considers each tree in her forest to be a dear friend. When a tree falls ill, she tends to them as carefully as a mother would her young, and when one of them dies, she mourns their loss and preserves their memory. To her, it doesn’t matter that the trees will never reciprocate her love or communicate with her in the way another dragon could. She prefers their quiet solemnity, their resolute desire to grow ever upwards, persevering despite those obstacles that stand in their way.
