Biography

Spurium has always been fascinated by the fauna around them.

Unfortunately only skymoss and windgrass would grow where they were born.

Sitting comfortably inside the Cloudsong, their tight knit clan, looked up to as the second eyes of their great Windsinger, are able to raise their young with no repercussions, along the gentler wind currents and high altitude.

Being an eccentric dragon, they didn't fit well into their small clan.

From a young age they were omit from their community.

Spurium was never given a name, seeing as young dragons in their clan were bestowed a name after their coming of age ceremony, which falls on their thirty-sixth moon.

This ceremony is orchestrated by the high priestess, by which the youth would traverse through the the Twisting Crescendo towards the Reedcleft Ascent where their naming ceremony would take place.

The priestess would scribble runes onto the leaves of the youths chosen bamboo shoot and let them scatter on the next gust of wind, then she would proceed to interpret the ones left at her front claws.

Spurium left their clan on their sixteenth moon, never to return, always finding something more interesting than the last.

Past clans they have visited sometimes tried to convince them to stay permanently, but Desire had always been somewhat off-put by the daily on-goings of their rather large dragon clans.

They have always been much more comfortable among the company of the high spirited nature spirits and their dirt covered claws to keep them company.

The first flight of different origin they made contact with was situated along the outskirts of Starfall Isles, Desire was content with observing the scarce coastal plants, until they reached further in, towards the Starwood Strand.

This is were a lone amateur archaeologist told Desire about the unending night, where life would still grow under the luminosity of the lands glowing fungous.

Riveted, they immediately set out northeast in the direction of the Tangled Wood and their infamous Wispwillow Grove.

The Scarred Wasteland is the place Desire was least exited to tread through and the place they stayed the longest, but not for what you'd think.

The clans of this land welcomed Spurium's eccentricity, all of them being a little off kilter themselves.

During their stay among the lands Rotrock Rim, with one of the local indigenous clans, their shaman of nine-hundred-and-ninety-six moons bestowed the young eighty-four moons old dragon with a name and the knowledge of how to heal both earth and body.

Spurium left after one-hundred-and-eight moons, with the now passed shamans prayer robes draped across themselves and the tittle of a witch to their name.

Spurium is now four-hundred-and-fifty-six moons and currently resides at the boarder-line between Driftwood Drag and Wispwillow Grove, along with a band of rag tag misfits who have wondered aimlessly from city to city across the globe (or perhaps tried escaping certain places).

Spurium still has plans to set off again, this time to the Viridian Labyrinth, were they truly wish to live out their days, surrounded by all types of unique wild flora and fauna.
