Haedus was the first Wildclaw to join the Clan. He kept to himself for a very long time, taking little interest in the Clan aside from its feats on the battlefield. His exceptional skills earned him his name, which he accepted, to the surprise of many.

Over time he and Gatria's apprentice Alhena developed a mutual affection, despite her father's reservations. Haedus is sternly protective of her and spends little time with anyone else.

He is one of the Clan's Council of Eight, representing Conquest.
