Sundae and her brother Artist left their dispersing Clan in Wispwillow grove. They had always been close since hatching, and Sundae always keeps close to her brother, who lacks her confidence and also has a tendency to have his head in the clouds. She could not leave him when the clan split, the thought didn't even occur to her.

They left their shadowy home together, and all the gentle bioluminesence that went with it. Another good reason for always being together was that they didn't need to shoulder anything alone. Sundae could confess her homesickness, and Artist could shed a tear without shame.

By the time they arrived in Everbloom Gardens, the brightness of such clear daylight still took some getting used to, especially when it glared into their eyes off of the lakes and rivers. When they happened across the odd trio of Conch, Basic and Milkyway, they saw something similar to the home they left, but more peaceful. Meditative.

Basic was eager to welcome them to the newly founded home, and quick to quiz them on their experience of eggs and hatchlings. His loving worry amused Sundae, and made her feel much better. After all, as long as she had Artist with her, anywhere was home.
