Main Theme: Tactical Trial

______ Gigabyte was born and raised with his family in The Lightning Farm. Despite feeling at home in the Lightning Flight, he always felt... off from everyone else. He was an absolute genius when it came to grasping magic and technology, but he was a total flop with some of the most basic things, from fighting to carrying a conversation. When he grew up, his parents confessed to him that he was adopted. They found his egg in the desert and took him in. He promised himself he would discover who he was and where he came from. He'd assumed he was just from another home in the Lightning Flight, so he traveled from clan to clan, honing his engineering skills and eventually landing a job as a techmaster.

______ One fateful day, while he was working in his laboratory, a bolt of electricity arced into him and struck him. Normally it wouldn't affect him, that being his natural element, but the lightning entered his body in a way that not only wasn't lethal, but invigorated him. Awakened him. He stood there with the electricity coursing through his being, and something within him clicked. Flashes of memories. Another World. Being ejected into the sky to be spared a terrible fate. hatching to see his adoptive parents. It all connected at once, and he understood.

______ When he finally awoke from his coma, he was in a hospital room, when he next opened his eyes, he saw the doctors and medics around him gasp in shock. One of them silently brought him a mirror, and he saw his eyes were now sparking with primal power, and his body's patterns have changed too. Like a train, the memories hit him again, and he realized what he needed to do. The day after he was released, he left his home to search and further his studies. he would find a way to fly off the planet and find his real home.

______ His travels led him to a Water Flight clan. There he met Golastra, another otherworldly alien, just like him. Although it was clear they were not from the same planet, he felt it was enough to get close to her and bond about their alien nature. He asked her many things in hopes of learning more, but she had no answers and was hesitant to speak about it. She explained her tragic past and how Sornieth felt to her more like home to her than any other world. Bit by bit, as they talked, Gigabyte began to see the beauty in the world he was on more and more. he decided to stay, and help study technology to benefit dragonkind. When invited by the leaders to be their representative for the Lightning Flight, he accepted on the condition that whenever he makes contact with his home planet, he be allowed to be a diplomat for them too. The terms were accepted, and now he works as both a technology engineer and the Lightning Diplomat.
