A staunch healer, Yarrow named himself for the herb commonly used by soldiers to staunch bloodflow on the battlefield. He himself had often used the plant. Yarrow grew up highly interested in herbalism, and was apprenticed to a healer shortly after leaving the nest. He memorized endless lists of plants and their medicinal uses. He mixed poultices and compresses, brewed potions and tonics.

Having completed his apprenticeship, Yarrow set off to explore Sornieth. He offered his knowledge to any in need. One day he stumbled across a group of warriors who had been wounded in battle with the beastclans. It was as he tended to their wounds that Yarrow knew he had found his true calling.

Now Yarrow seeks out battle, acting as a combat medic. He fearlessly stands upon the battleground, tending to those in need. With a satchel of herbs by his side, and a lantern to light his work, Yarrow mends wounds and sets bones, staunching bloodflow with the very herb for which he is named.
