 		Silence is, as perhaps evident by her name and title, utterly mute. She wasn't always mute, actually. While she does not write of it, there is some trauma in her past that locked up her vocal cords entirely. Indeed, Silence feels very much like she owes Mao quite a lot - as the silver haired warrior accepting her is part of what's given her a reason to continue on.

Because of this, Silence is massively protective of Mao and would constantly shadow her as a bodyguard if the General needed her to. Although Mao does not, Silence is always very swift to listen for Mao (or those Mao loves) needing anything and often goes above and beyond to provide for them. Silence does not carry any romantic feelings for Mao, however, and simply either writes or signs the words 'hero' and 'respect' when asked about why she follows the other warrior.
