She was not expecting death to come this quickly. She though she had more time. She was an experienced fighter but apparently not experienced enough to full stop the fatal wound piecing her chest. At least she knew her clan was safe, no longer in danger of the beast clan tribe that had tried to settle and pick at her clan. No as she lay dying, so do they. Their pathetic attempt at a camp razed to the ground and any attackers removed swiftly. Just...one though, had gotten lucky. Far to lucky. Her apprentice Moonrun desperately trying to stop the bleeding. His voice barking at her to hold on. She wished she could. She wanted to show him the world and teach him everything she knew.

At least he'd have her notes. Countless hours of battle tactics, planned training sessions and diagrams of fighting techniques would do well. He was much more of a book learner anyways. She smiled at her apprentice, red probably staining her teeth if the taste of iron was any indicator. At least she went down fighting for those she cared about, a true warriors death. She rested her hand on his as the world started to fade, giving one last cocky grin before she knew no more.

A beloved dragon of mine that I've had for a few years now but no longer have room for! Unfortunately for her the dice rolls were not kind. I'm doing writing prompt's that effect my dragons and all I ask is that the new owners take good care of her! All I ask is please don't exalt her.
