Biography
"I wasn't worried, you see. I knew that wherever I'd go would be good." Devlin explains, trying to keep his ears from twitching as Cryptococcosis curls up inside of one. The nocturne is tiny and he's fine with where she's chosen to nest, even if his ears keep trying to flip on their own. "Starlight always said that wherever I went, I should look to the sky and take strength from it and from her."
"Good words," Crypto peeps. Her voice is soft, but when she's nestled in Devlin's ears, she can be heard clearly, "Your old clan's leader sounds strong. You'll fit in fine here."
"Yeah, especially if you're used to hardasses. Cholera's not that bad but she's pretty y'know," Ophiocordyceps waggles his secondary wings and shrugs as he picks out a few old feathers from his wings and drops them in a pile. "Everybody here pulls their weight. Everybody helps send souls off to Plaguebringer."
"Hail Plaguemother," Crypto intones solemnly. Ophio meets Devlin's eyes and ever so slightly rolls his. Devlin grins a little, glad to have found a friend in one of the other Nature dragons.
"Hail Plaguemother." He tries out. It feels weird, but he's sure he'll get used to it in time, even if he doesn't become a true believer.
