Name: Mosasaur Status: Fisher |
"Can't talk. Gone fishing"
On the furthest edge of Sornieth, where the Viridian Labyrinth bleeds into the unaligned sea, Mosasaur lived a humble life as a fisher. That was, until a bolt of lightning came down from the sky, and stayed around in the form of an injured dragon. Mosasaur's first reaction on seeing such an impossible sight was to laugh, her head filled with all the old sailor's tales see spent her childhood ignoring, of course something like this would happen to her.
After a long recovery that left plenty of spare time for a growing infatuation, Mosasaur decided to follow the lightning spirit on his stated journey of recollecting the lost fragments of his last missive. She found herself traveling to near every landmark in Sornieth, which made the fact that the trail ended in an out of the way Shadow Flight clan rather anticlimactic. In fact, she was about to leave for the road when Penumbra stopped her with a last minute invitation to The Clan of Glowing Night. Unable to think of any better location to place down roots, Mosasaur readily accepted.
Strangely, though, when she broke the news Ningen he didn't seem particularly pleased, giving her a strange half-smile that didn't reach his eyes. That memory seems to rear its head at the most random of times, like in the middle of her latest catch, or between thunderstrikes as she rests in the clan lair beside her mate.
