He is a curious type, and as his lair ascends the Arcanist's ranks, he explores the entire expanse of his lair and documents all of it. The flora, the fauna, the dragons. It's a common sight for him to be observing those who wander into their territory and watch how they act instead of driving them out. Because of this, Zhidio ends up with a lot of outsiders that look around at his home and decide that it’s theirs now. Not that Zhidio minds much. He likes spreading his knowledge, and the best way to do this is to invite new people in with their new perspectives in tow.

Long and scrawny.

Books, magic, the Observatory.
 		Dislikes:
Talking of the past, unnecessary conversations.
Lore:
Zhidio was once the understudy of a powerful Arcane mage by the name of Aetheria. He advanced very far in his studies, learning much about what it meant to be a mage, and what it meant to be Arcane. One day, his teacher, the leader of his clan before him, left to investigate the Focal Point, the highest and most concentrated point of Arcane energy in all of Sornieth. However, she never returned. This meant that the next senior member of the clan was Zhidio, and he took the mantle of clan leader.
Zhidio never wanted the role he was put in, but he had it, and he had to do his job well. He struggled at first, but eventually the members who didn't trust him left, and those that remained stayed true to him. His old master, however, has never left his mind.
When Zhidio hears of a fae mage who had a mirror dragon following her, he is first excited, and then terrified. He doesn't know what over-exposure to magic does to one's mind. He realizes what has happened to his old mentor far too late...
