I was probably born at the worst time to be born in the Arcane flight. Why? Because I have all the colors of the Shadow flight. Why is that bad? Because at the time I hatched, the Arcane flight and the Shadow flight were enemies. Don't even get me started on the bullying from other hatchlings. Luckily, it wasn't as bad as it could've been. I had my siblings. I wasn't treated like the best little brother in the world or anything though. Why? Because I was the one imperial out of Nocturne's. which means since I have Nocturne siblings and I'm an Imperial that I'm not 100% Imperial. Not a good look. My pedigree in simple terms: it sucks.

I was quickly made to leave. So, I wandered and wandered and wandered again. Eventually I found myself in the Driftwood Drag. I considered just finding an Shadow flight clan and getting exalted just to spite my old clan. But then while I was hunting, I ran into Winterfell and SapphireSky.

Winterfell looked like she belonged in 3 different flights. Wind, Shadow, and Ice. She had azure wings which were like the Ice flight or water flight colors but she had light green runes so she also could've been Wind flight. She had a grey body so she could've been Shadow. I loved her the moment I saw her. She looked to be scavenging. I walked a little closer and then I was promptly tackled.

SapphireSky. Our then clan leader.
"Who are you? where did you come from? Are you stalking Winterfell? If you plan to kill her or something then you don't know what clan you're messing with."
I protested "I was NOT stalking her. I just thought she looked kinda pretty. Now get OFF!"
She did not get off. If anything she decided to put more weight on my back
"What do you mean 'kinda pretty' were you thinking of flirting with her or something?"
Winterfell was looking at me like I was a weirdo. She then suggested
"What if we take him into our clan? We need a few more members. And not gonna lie he has some pretty genes and colors." SapphireSky took that into consideration. I protested again.
"Hey! I did not say I wanted to join any clan! And can you get off me already!?!?" She whacked me on the head with her tail.
"Not a bad idea Winterfell. He looks like a good enough fighter. An Impressive color and gene combo. He's bound to impress anyone who looks into our lair."
She stared at him for a good minute or two.
"He also has that look in the eye like he wants get himself exalted." I replied
"I do. And I want to go to a Shaodw flight clan. So... IF YOU COULD GET OFF!!!!!!"
"Shadow flight? Lucky for you, we are from a Shadow flight. Well if you don't want to come then that's alright but what a shame for a kinda cute guy like you to get exalted." SapphireSky snorted
"I can practically see the hearts in his eyes" and there were. I was joining this clan.

To all of you shipping our relationship- It didn't happen. She is such a nerd but don't worry, we're friends now. And I am currently pursuing the single life.
