Selenite is a dragon of many talents. As a hatchling he dabbled in all things creative, trying his hand at everything from painting to ice sculpting. Oftentimes, he would be struck with sudden inspiration and flee to his den, where he would carefully craft whatever fit his fancy at that moment. Sometimes, he would paint beautiful landscapes, and the very next day build a complex geometric sculpture that really made sense to him and him alone. He dabbled in wire melding, weaving and tapestry, and even organic art for quite some time, finding each new medium more exciting than the last. Unlike most artists, Selenite never really settled into a particular style, instead enjoying the freedom his creative endeavors offered him.

Though known for his dramatic artwork, Selenite himself is not a dramatic dragon, rather a calm, collected, and philosophical soul. As he works, he can often be found humming some random tune--sometimes out of tune--or spinning his pearl idly on the floor. Carefree and relaxed, Selenite finds it easy to make friends and allies, though he does not go out of his way to do so. He rather prefers to allow others to approach him first, and then follows the conversation wherever it may take them. Conversations with Selenite are often winding and charming things, taking unexpected twists and turns into strange topics with a level of whimsy that is difficult to match. Let it never be said that all Pearlcatchers are stuck up, for Selenite surely protests such labels.
