Having come from clans afar, Black's story thus prior is a mystery, or perhaps closer to a myth, to those around him. The wear around his claws speaks of many rough roads traveled, while the sheen remaining on his wings speaks of a pride rigorously maintained. And though his voice might sound sure and forceful, the roughness in his softer tones seems to warn toward caution and skepticism. And even when offering advice, wisdom that comes rarely but always timely, his clear eyes belay the chance, still, for mistakes and ruin; and these ideas seem, truly, to cause him pain that battle never does.

Although none seem to know his full history, yet, or even his current goals or motives, Black is a constant presence on the peripheries of anything going on in, or around, the clan. Whether he is seeking a reason to stay where he is, or looking for excuses to care less, none will deny Black's strength in battle, his hard-won insight, or his right to be respected.
