How strange, you think, to see a dragon so rooted to the Earth walking among the dragons of the Reedcleft Ascent. You take a moment to wonder how she managed to scale the perilous cliffs - such short wings would never be able to lift the weight of such a large and unwieldy dragon. You briefly contemplate asking her, but think better of it - It would be wise to tread carefully in this foreign territory, you would rather not risk upsetting the tentative truce here. Velka, however, has already noticed your attention and pays you an indulgent smile as you approach. You think she must find you very amusing.

"Oh I may not be able to fly, or climb as well as you, little one, but I have my ways," she purrs.

Before you can decipher that statement, magic swells within her breast, pushing outwards until the very air crackles with the weight of it. You feel it pass through your own body in a wave and suppress a shudder - you have no doubt, should she wish it, that this dragon could strike you down without so much as lifting a paw.

But as quickly as the sensation came, it passes. As you recover, something feels very different about your body. Somehow, you feel lighter, as though you could float away on the breeze.

From where Velka is standing, you hear something snicker at your amazement, but when you look up, her expression is serene. Perhaps you imagined it, as some after-effect of the spell.
