Aru

The Organizer
Aru gathers dragons to bring to the kingdom. Some dragons find their way, and others are rescued and offered shelter in the den, and Aru is in charge of finding them and taking care of them. He has a soft spot for little hatchlings and is very kind and funny. He has a dark past of his own and would've been executed had the rulers of this den not taken him in.
Aru came with Reisi and is the only one who knows all about his past but refuses to talk about out of respect for him. He used to be a handler for Reisi in the old lair and he took on brutal abuse after he helped Reisi escape before managing to escape on his own. Reisi feels like he is protecting Aru now, but Aru is always looking out for him.
Aru has a mysterious pendant around his neck that he arrived with. He never removes it and when he is asked about it he simply reroutes the conversation. It holds great power and value and Aru is willing to die to protect it. It was from his original den, but even Reisi doesn't fully understand the power of it. Aru has taken it upon himself to shoulder the burden alone and by keeping Reisi in the dark he is protecting him like usual.
