She is the current high archmage, under Harvester's tutelage. She and Apophyllite overtook the clan priest by force and now jointly control all devotions to the Arcanist, per Apophyllite's cosmic visions.

A shifting current has taken Aster's Arcane clan, and with whispers of uncertainty and dissolution, the clan followed a dangerous path across the Plaguelands to the storied Sea of a Thousand Currents. Apophyllite's visions led her to commune with the sea witch Desca and shift the clan's loyalty. Alister remains a devotee of the Arcanist, but is allowing clan guidance to fall to Desca's search for power in the silent caves where the Tidelord used to reign.
