Moon

The moon, having spent millennia in the skies above Sornieth, has seen quite a lot. The first age, in which his fickle daughter was born from the deities' fighting. The second age, where kingdoms all over the world created wonderful things-- and then terrible ones. But the age of dragons is by far his favorite. None of the other people to grace this world are as in tune with it's magic as the dragons are, and Moon finds himself entranced by them often. Long nights, once spent silently communing with the stars, are now spent looking down at the great planet below him, watching the many inhabitants create beautiful objects, generate new life, and of course-- fall in love.

Was it so odd, then, that the moon ended up falling in love himself, after watching countless lives do the same?

She wasn't the first, who caught the Moon's eye, beautiful and pearlescent... but she was the first one who seemed to return his affections. She was a dancer-- beautiful and quiet, and always in the moonlight. He could not refrain from watching-- entranced by the ballet that almost seemed as though it called out to him. All he wanted was to tell the dragon-- I see you. The moon, of course, is a being of great magical power-- but he had no idea that his power could manifest him a physical form. Before now, he had never truly wanted one.

He was able to take on a new form-- unfamiliar and draconian. Not wanting to scare the object of his affection, he spent much time perfecting the form he concentrated with pure moonlight.
