I've seen what's called monsters; ferocious amalgamations of things the faint of heart would surely perish from. Some were kin; still capable of containing draconic form, but transmogrified to be considered far too gone to retrieve. Thank the deities for my size, otherwise they could've crushed me like a pebble, or perhaps changed me into them.
Maybe even mindlessly devour me instead.
They're getting harder to contain, I'm sure of it. I understand why the Gaolers had done it for years, hiding them away, and I've devoted myself into doing so as well, but. . . they're getting stronger, more powerful than the last. They're coming up with newer ways to get past us, to get what they want.
I fear for the worst, and possibly for a certain clanmate I have my eye on.
