Sick of living in the slums, Rex is bitter and angry at the world. A terrible tragedy tore his family apart, leaving him an orphan, and he deeply misses his little sister Meenya. Believes the world is split into that haves and have-nots, and that the gap can never be closed. His drive for power and success helps him get by pretty well, but he feels his social standing gets in the way. He acts like a big brother to Tia and Yumil because they're in the same situation as him.
