Transfixing Teacher
"A good teacher, like a good entertainer first must hold his audience's attention, then he can teach his lesson."

As a light dragon, Carnivale’s first instinct is toward scholarly pursuits. But while so many of his brethren would prefer to lock themselves away with their books and scrolls, Carnivale wants to make sure that his learning and teaching are done in the most important ways possible - with children.

The spiral knew from a very young age that his future belonged to the young. Nothing made him happier than to be able to learn something and turn around to help someone else learn it as well. Carnivale has a way of making even the driest subject fun in some way. In addition, his near-perfect recall of anything he has heard or read makes him an endless source of information.

When not teaching little ones … oh, who was he kidding? There’s always at least one around. But when not actively teaching classes, Carnivale likes to assist with the clan’s many familiars. Chaotic Daydreams always takes in those that are lost, outcast, or abused and so dragons and creatures abound. Carnivale never runs out of new pets or students. Luckily he has many eyes to help him keep track of the teeming hordes.

Though many other places - universities, laboratories, temples, etc. - have tried to lure Carnivale away to put his abilities and intelligence to “better” use, it’s doubtful that any will succeed. The spiral’s heart and joy are here with the ones that can benefit most on a personal level, not just one leading to fame and fortune. Carnivale would rather give up all of that for the moment of clarity he sees on another dragon’s face when something he’s teaching clicks.
