Selby

history:
Selby was born of a family that for decades has been cast aside as being 'born evil'. They were almost never allowed to live in other lairs, and were skipped over when applying for jobs. From a very young age, Selby learned that life, for her, would not be fair. So she tried not to have any high expectations.

Selby eventually decided to leave her family, because as much as she felt a kinship with them, she needed to be alone. She arrived in the Oasis after traveling through the desert alone for months.

personality:
anti-social. Prefers to be alone rather than to risk getting into uncomfortable social situations. But she is lonely, and wishes to be understood, and loved… but isn’t willing to do what is necessary to have that happen. considers herself 'cursed' or 'glitched', and thus is afraid that getting close to others will hurt them.

role in the Oasis:
professional snooker player. Outside of that, she doesn't really do much, not because she doesn't want to, but because she wants to avoid social interaction as much as possible. Because of this, a lot of dragons barely even know she lives in the Oasis, or what she's like as a person. When they see her, they still greet her, though. In reality, she probably thinks others hate her way more than they actually do.
