Athena

Athena is the clan's record keeper and Leaf's alchemy assistant, always happiest with her nose stuck in a book or helping Leaf with her experiments.

Sent to the Viridian Labyrinth as a hatchling, Athena was quickly adopted into Leaf's clan after her scholarly inclinations became apparent. Taken under Leaf's wing, Athena secretly thinks of her as more of an aunt or second mother, but doesn't feel able to voice that connection-due to the ancestral hostility between Imperials and Pearl-catchers, she fears that it would lead to tensions given Leaf's relationship with Emerald.
