Koi, along with his companions Aisling and Avari, are being put through the clan's "intensive" coliseum training. After one single session with Drift, the coli master, the trio was sent into the coliseum to work their way up to the top. They have all three proven themselves strong, and have formed a tightknit team. There is one problem, however: there can only be one Scrapper-Scratcher, and both Koi and Avari are determined to take on the role. Only the thoughest, most clever dragon can win. As for the other... Likely, in their shame, they will choose to leave the clan forever.

Now he has become the scratcher, he begins to feel resentful about being the Tank... taking hit after hit after hit and always expected to get back up.
