This young skydancer would have probably been better of born a fae. He speaks in, while not complete monotone, totally emotionlessly, and his habit of staring unblinking tends to intimidate smaller dragons. At the same time, he has perfected the wide-eyed innocent look and uses it to avoid uncomfortable situations. Others assume he is harmless due to his acting, which is just what he wants.
He has taken his brother Jaszna to the far reaches of their territory and hides him there. They would have gone further, but Jaszna refused, and the maddened pearlcatcher is more than a match for his timid brother. Additionally, there are people Kalidar care about among the clan and though he fears Ulrezaj's might, he doesn't want to abandon them.
