the nymph dragged to the underworld
yet given a second life

You see, I failed,
I wriggled, I flailed,
Please, come save me,
I was your baby.

Abandoned at my birth,
Abandoned at the hearth,
Please, I need a saviour,
Not a loveless voyeur. 		** So small, my hope,
So small, my light,
And yet, you came,
By the dark of night.

Look at her, my blessed,
My pleas, ingested,
A new talent was born,
After her, I will fawn.

She saved me, you see,
When all else would flee,
She set my world aglow,
The beauty, Aceso. 		**

Saved by Aceso as she was, Leuce dedicated the rest of her life to service under Aceso's wing. Aceso is apathetic towards the spiral's decision, but has no problems making requests of the younger dragon, eager to please as she is.

Leuce lives her second chance at life in service to the necromancer who saved her, and to the ghouls not yet neutralized. If she could give them a second chance too... then, perhaps, Leuce will have earned her own relief. That's how Leuce sees it, at least.
