B I O G R A P H Y
Born and raised within the Starwood Strand, Solstice had practically felt a connection to the area from the day he hatched. Born to the current guardians of the Starwood, ey were raised to respect the forest from a young age, and as they got older, they were taught how to protect it, as ey were born into a family line that had been doing so for generations. Time passed, and he grew from a curious hatchling eager to learn, into a capable young adult. He joined his parents in protecting the Starwood Strand, and as they grew older, and more tired, ey took over the position completely. It felt like both forever and no time at all before they’d passed. In spite of the tedious effort needed to do so, he buried them under the old oak tree he grew up near, at peace with the fact that the earth would reclaim them. He was now the last of his bloodline alive who hadn’t forsaken their duties.

Time further passed, the days slowly blending into each other as Solstice devoted more and more of eir time to their responsibilities; not out of some threat leading to a greater need to protect the Starwood, but out of a feeling of boredom, and a newfound listlessness. Few others approached the part of the woods where they lived, those who had spent a long time living in the domain knowing that you should never disturb the guardians, their jobs vital to the protection of the domain. After spending far longer than usual dwelling on this fact, something finally occurred to Solstice; he was lonely.
