Layla Glimblink, an archeologist and polysomnographist/oneirologist temporarily keeping residence with the Starlight Guard. In spite of being a scholar, Layla has never skipped out on training if she were to do research on the Hewn City and live to report her findings, after all. Combat isn't exactly her specialty, but she is interested in seeing the effects on facing such horrors in regards to how the individuals of the Starlight Guard sleep and what they dream of. A bit of a morbid reason to stay by the sides of the guards, but for the sake of science she's willing to study the uncomfortable. Where other Mirrors are ravenous for battle, Layla is ravenous for knowledge, especially the psyche of civilizations faded into the fog and individuals fighting the fog.

Has accompanied the party selected for the Dustcarve Dig to witness the unearthing of the Obelisks. The Obelisk that accompanied the Morning Roses back home, Kartik, has latched onto her in particular. She finds this fascinating as he's a statue come to life and wants to learn all about him and how the Obelisks came to be that she can.
