Nora

Nora, sometimes known as Naomi II, is believed by some to be the second coming of Naomi the Gatekeeper though it is unknown if this is true. What is true however is that she is indeed descended from the Glitch Queen and is exceptionally powerful thanks to her lineage. While not quite as powerful as the Eleven, Nora still possesses greater power than the average dragon. Her powers often manifest themselves in a similar manner to the Shade though she herself is not Shade Touched. The reason for this is unknown but is speculated to be a dark combination of Arcane abilities inherited from Naomi and Plague abilities from the Scarred Wasteland.




It is unknown where exactly in the Scarred Wasteland Nora was born. What is known is that her birth came under mysterious circumstances. Her father, a warrior and scavenger for his clan, met an enigmatic Fae one night whilst traversing the wasteland and together they shared an evening of passion. When he woke up, she was gone and in her place was a single egg. For the most part the egg resembled a Plague egg but had a slight violet and pink aura more akin to an Arcane egg along with a slightly more spherical shape. It is because of these circumstances that some have speculated that the female Fae may have been Naomi herself, though no one, not even Nora's father, can say for certain. To this day he considers it an act of fate that the two of them had a child together.

Nora's father took the egg back to his clan where even the best mages and scientists there were confounded by the egg's strange hybrid appearance. They asked him if there were any other eggs but he admitted he didn't know. Only the one had been left with him. Though this sparked their curiosity even more, they reluctantly contented themselves with the one egg, keeping an ever watchful eye on it. When it hatched a few days later, both the scholars and the father were stunned by what emerged from it. A little Fae with pure white scales and azure wings. The only difference between her and Naomi were the blood red eyes marking her as a Plague dragon. Regardless of this difference, the fact that she was so nearly identical to the fabled Glitch Queen sparked mixed reactions from not just the scholars, but the clan as a whole. Some wished to study her, others wished to kill her or have her banished. Before any decision could be made, Nora's father stepped in to protect her, telling the other clan members to back off.
