      Pan He/Him Cis amab Ridgeback  Pan was the first dragon Polvorón surrendered his heart to. When the large imperial was struggling, at first, to accept himself for all he was, this ridgeback claims to have found his brooding extremely charming and knew immediately that he wanted to claim his heart for himself. He is a charmer with a voice that Polvo has claimed can soothe him at any moment's notice. "He always knows what to say and I fall in love with him all over again every time he does that," the large imperial admitted one day. This ridgeback isn't a fan of sadness and will always go out of his way to make others feel like they belong. He can always be found patrolling the clan, constantly on a look-out for anybody who may feel under the weather. When he's not on his quest to make the world smile, he can be found alongside a clanmate, lazing about as he speaks about nothing in particular for hours on end, but is also perfectly content with providing quiet company if that is what they want. | o |
      Aeon She/Her, They/Them Genderfluid afab Coatl Aeon was born to an ancient dragon whose presence has moved Sornieth much like the presence of the imperial who eventually claimed her heart does. Her mother is one of the acolytes who gathered under the apprenticeship of Polvorón, which allowed her to meet this legendary dragon in the flesh, and after spending much time together, found herself unable to gaze into his eyes without her heart fluttering. After some time, the two developed a special bond, one that is most often silent and quiet, but where any dragon who came across the sight would know that the two dragons were sharing a very soft, intimate moment. Aeon is very soft and gentle, and she enjoys spending time with Vita in fields of flowers, and is often mistaken for a flower, herself. Creating renewable bouquets is one of her specialties, and she enjoys going around gifting these bouquets to clanmates, leaving them a special message with the language of flowers. |

  Novus She/Her Cis afab Skydancer Novus is a delightful dragon with boundless energy. She first met Polvorón during a summer festival and her charisma and bright smile instantly stole the large imperial's heart. She is always moving about all around the lair, lending her hand to those who may need it and bringing a bright air of joy and energy to those whom she is with. Many dragons claim that simply being around her energizes their very spirit into smiling and jumping head-first into action. She and Pan create quite a charismatic duo, and they've gained the reputation of "Joymakers," though Novus is more prone to eccentricities and showy actions to bring joy to the face of the dragons around her. If a party is underway, Novus is the first any dragon suspects into having some part in its planning, and if confronted about it, she will always reply with a wink and skip away with a giggle in her throat. | o |
  Vita They/Them Agender amab Obelisk Vita first met Polvorón at the bank of a river they had been meditating at, startling the large imperial when they moved. To this day, they find their first meeting to be one of their most precious memories, since Polvorón was almost convinced they were a statue, and reminding him of such turns him into a flustered mess, which Vita loves. Although they are typically a quiet, soft-spoken obelisk, Vita is known for going on long-winded talks about nature and its beauty. They treat everything they come across with immense respect, and take care to never destroy any organic object so long as they can help it, and has made a ritual habit of thanking the food they eat for giving them the chance to live on. They have a habit of spooking many-a-dragon by meditating in open spaces, being confused for a statue more times than they can count. |

  Amica He/Him, She/Her Genderfluid amab Wildclaw Amica first met Polvorón whilst scolding a certain ridgeback and skydancer for being loud around hatchlings. The two dragons hit it off swiftly, and Polvorón has claimed Amica's presence as a soothing one. Almost ironically, Amica is quite opposite from any of his children, as he's a very mature and serious dragon who's absolutely excellent at mediating whenever any issues arise. Although usually calm and collected, this wildclaw is not above using embarrassing stories to fluster those he cares for, but will only do so in their private company. He is very much a typical parent who will ramble for hours about those he loves, and will always shush anybody up who begins to talk about their own shortcomings, countering with a soft smile and a long list of why said dragon is actually amazing. Amica loves nothing more than sitting and listening to those he loves about whatever it is they are currently fascinated with, and pays attention to his fullest ability. To say he's great with hatchlings would be an understatement. | o |
  Psyki She/Her, They/Them Demigirl afab Nocturne Psyki's curiosity brought her to Polvorón, allowing the rumors of this dragon to bring her to Istaeoria and eventually lay her eyes upon the large imperial. After finding him by his lonesome one day and providing him some quiet company, the two formed an inseparable bond after repeat visits. Psyki is a dragon born without the ability to speak, but she prefers to allow her actions do all the talking, anyways. She's not quite as active a Pan or Novus, but she is often found traversing the lair to find places where she may make herself useful, and with all the golden jewelry that adorns her scales, one always knows where she is. One of her best traits, Polvorón has said, is her curiosity which brings her into contact with learning as many things as she can and bringing those skills to action, allowing her to adapt into whatever the situation demands. Although she lacks the gift of speech, she is an expert at body language and expression to get across whatever point she's trying to make. This has made her an expert at dancing. Her graceful, calculated movements are enough to capture the hearts of all who see her. |

  Prota He/Him Genderless Imperial The first being created under the guidance of the mysterious being known as Aspect. By using a patchwork style of magic, Polvorón gave life to the creature known today as Prota. He and his siblings are nothing more than a physical amalgamation of magic and not actually dragons, and he has specifically taken the appearance of a patchwork dragon. His specific magic is the perfect practice of puppeteering, and he can often be found crafting various marionettes and imbuing them with magic to help around the lab. Prota is a very serious creature who sometimes intimidates others simply by standing around, but he has a very gentle streak. A creature of few words, he often keeps to himself more than anything, unless he's performing magical rituals with his mate, Nein. The two share a mutual love for the combination of science and magic. He treats his offspring with kindness and tenderness after they spring to life, and it is usually only with them, his mate, and his father that he can be heard speaking in his unearthly voice. | o |
  Nein She/Her Cis afab Skydancer Nein is one of the first dragons born to the mad scientists, Jy and No, and their love for science carried through to her. She can often be considered eccentric with the amount of experiments she performs, but she makes sure never to cross into immoral sciences. This love for science and natural curiosity brought her to Prota, and although they have an intimate, lovely relationship, she has her fair share of joy literally poking her mate to examine his constitution. She creates the vessels for her children with the utmost care and love, and always greets the new lives with a smile and a tender touch. Although she often tries to inspire them into science and magic, she happily encourages them to pursue their desires as they grow and develop into proper dragons. The hour-long conversations Nein has with Prota about new experiments and the like are some of the few times that clanmates really hear Prota's voice, and these moments really emphasize how much she means to Prota. Before they are mates, they are also the best of friends and like-minded scientific and magical companions. |

  Defteros They/Them Genderless Imperial The second being created under the guidance of Aspect, Defteros was created by Polvorón after weaving the very night itself into the shape of a dragon. They are the epitome of the night itself, another wholly magical being under the guise of a dragon. As such, they control the very darkness of the world, able to make the shadows do their bidding, use them to travel, and remove blanket the world under darkness if they so desired. They are most comfortable under the cover of night, and is often found sitting around eerily under the moonlight as the purples light shines from their mask. During the day, they spend most of their time in the shadow of their mate. Defteros's voice is a serene, detached voice that echoes around the winds, though they speak softly and calmly in such a way to ease the fears of any who approaches them with distrust. They swim gracefully through the shadows as the light from the moon highlights their figure, and will gladly put on a display to any who ask. When the month is over and they shed a scale to conjure offspring, Defteros makes sure to bathe the children under the moonlight so their powers and life may be blessed with prosperity. They will hold each child tenderly and whisper words of good fortune to them before gently placing them on their ground and watching them go on their way. |

  Sativus He/Him Cis amab Ridgeback Sativus first encountered Defteros one restless night, and discovered the not-dragon while they were swimming through the shadows. The sight almost instantly stole his heart. After spending much time together, Sativus became enamored with the shadows, although he knows he himself cannot mould them as their mate does. Unlike his serene mate, Sativus himself is quite amicable and is quite good at small-talk. He is mostly diurnal, and can often be found having simple chats with his clanmates in order to keep up with the day-to-day. He's a relatively decent task-runner, as well, helping around the lair or running errands for Defteros whilst they hide in his shadows. When he's seen talking to himself, he's actually chatting with the not-dragon who's hiding in his shadows, and gladly communicates all Defteros needs to get across if need be. While he is mostly diurnal, he's cursed with a frequent insomnia, which keeps him up to chat and watch his mate dance under the moon until sleep finally graces him. Sativus is especially loving of his offspring, treating them with a delicate touch and a tender greeting. He can often be found at the lead of a hatchling train whilst he's running his morning errands, and it ends up being a rather large hatchling train as other Istaeorian hatchlings join in. |

  Tritos He/Him Genderless Imperial Tritos is the final being created under the guidance of Aspect, and the last organic being Polvorón created before Aspect disappeared from this reality. In order to honor his parents' original flight, Polvorón chose to make the final aspect out of Ice. By conjuring the moisture from the air, he delicately crafted the being known today as Tritos. Unlike his other siblings, Tritos' figure is less stable than the others and is in constant shift, but it seems that when he is with his mate, Miki, that he is the most "solid." His magics is the most powerful of ice magic, and he can swiftly become one with a wind, literally. His voice is akin to the gentle wind that blows as snow drifts in winter, and carries with it a soft chill. It's often difficult to locate Tritos unless one knows what to look for, as he is often one with the wind, though his mate can summon him quite easily. Tritos is perhaps the most sociable of his siblings, and makes frequent rounds around the lair. His descendants certainly inherited his affinity to beauty, as he is often called upon to help with decorations or to figure out outfits. With his children, Tritos always makes sure that their first sight is one of a beautiful winter wonderland that he carefully crafts just for them, and often makes them simple ice golems to play with as they grow old enough to leave the lair. |

  Miki He/Him, She/Her Genderfluid amab Nocturne Miki's love for the cold was what first brought him to meeting Tritos. What he first thought was some sort of winter spirit turned out to be some magical amalgamation of ice that could take the shape of a dragon. After curiously inquiring about the nature of his being, Miki chose to stick around and eventually found himself to be inseparable from the not-dragon. Miki shares Tritos's love for the beautiful, and carries himself with an air of pride of dignity, making sure to always present himself as he wishes others to perceive him without coming across as haughty or self-centered. As such, he makes sure to be humble and modest, and adapts himself well depending on the situation. Not-so-surprisingly, Miki has become one of the only dragons who can summon his mate. No matter where he may be, simply by calling out his name, the spirit-like being manifests himself before his mate. His approach with the hatchlings may sometimes come off as cold, but he's simply a bit more strict with them than the others. He makes sure the children learn proper manners and courtesy, as well as to make sure that they know the difference between self-love and narcissism. Miki makes sure to spend plenty of time with the children before they're old enough to leave the lair. |

The Descendants & Their Beloveds

  Nox She/Her, They/Them Agender afab Ridgeback Nox... Where to even start? Defteros and Sativus are not quite sure what happened during their conception, but their main theory is that the Plaguebringer blessed this dragon herself, infusing the Scarred Wastelands into the dragon's very heart, body, and soul. Nox is a prideful dragon who has never once been ashamed of their Plague Roots. They value survival and adaptability above all, and will fight tooth and nail to get out on top. Nox inherited Defteros' darkness magic, but with the Scarred Wastelands infused into their body, they're incredibly hardy and cannot get sick. They can survive some of the harshest climates and most brutal of endeavors, emerging from battles and exploration with naught but a scratch. They only utilize their magic when they absolutely need to, but prefer to do things on their own without using their indragonic powers. This ridgeback is probably up there in terms of strictness with Miki, making sure that each and every one of their children understands that they should never for a second take their hardiness for granted. One slip-up could cost them their life, so they really drill it into their heads. However, there are various moments where Nox can simply be seen softly grooming their children, cooing them to sleep or giving them a share of their own food if they ask. They will never say no to playing a game with their children. |

  Crocodile He/Him Cis amab Wildclaw Crocodile was a wanderer, exploring the lands of Sornieth whichever way the wind carried him, until he came across the Scarred Wastelands and met Nox. Their ambition and dedication to survival inspired the wildclaw until he found himself falling head-over-heels for the ridgeback. Crocodile can sometimes be aloof as he enjoys the outdoors, so when he's inside, he's always thinking about being outside. He always has a story to tell about his travels across Sornieth to anybody who asks, but isn't very good at conversing about much else, though he does try his best. Because of this, he can often come off as rather awkward, but almost everyone agrees that he's the perfect match for Nox. He and Nox go on many adventures together, and when they're rearing hatchlings, they always bring them along with them. Crocodile understands that a hatchling's experience can never compare to an adult's, so he's a bit more lenient with his children than Nox, and becomes a force to be reckoned with if his children come to any danger that they themselves cannot get themselves out of. He's not above using force to escape danger if need be, and his scarred body is enough to make that quite clear. Crocodile's got quite a set of lungs on him and an accompanying set of lovely vocal chords, he can often be found singing lullabies he wrote himself to his children. |
