Behenius

(the Behenii, or Behenian fixed stars.)

Behen - pronounced Behen, not Ben, thank you very much! - is a bit of a newcomer to the clan. He is one of few dragons to have come to the Star Shrine willingly, knowing full well of the magic over the island. He's also one of the very few young dragons who have been granted a cowl of the Dusk Order without first openly proving himself to the clan, which has stirred up quite a bit of gossip among the rest of the clan. Why did he come here? What exactly is he doing here? How did he earn the trust of the Dusk Council so quickly? Why does he spend so much time cooped up in the catacombs within the floating island with all of those musty, dusty books? He's quite the mystery!

When not lurking behind stacks of books and rows of enormous candles, Behen can usually be found tutoring the clan's hatchlings. He's friendly, if a bit reserved, and always seems a little distracted. The only thing that seems to truly upset him is mispronouncing his name.

For some reason he always radiates the scent of old parchment, floral incense and burnt candle wax, and is sometimes spattered with colourful ink and wax, or covered in scattered blooms.
