nero grew up in a small clan in the shrieking wilds, but he had some grand ambitions. a series of questionable decisions and regrettable mistakes led to nero being exiled from his clan. ambitions and ego thoroughly humbled, they left the viridian labyrinth long ago, and have no plans of ever returning. |

nero is in a polyamorous relationship with chikku and banda. nero had been rivals with banda, eventually developing romantic feelings for him, only to then also develop romantic feelings for chikku.
it was chikku who proposed the relationship, as both nero and banda were paralyzed by indecision and didn't know how to proceed. |

its body is host to a half-sentient force that causes plants to grow wildly and out of control. nero himself has vines emerging from their mouth, right eye, and threatening to emerge from between his ribs. since nero took up residence in the castle, growth and spread of plants in and around old blackstone has greatly accelerated. |

nero is an antisocial recluse, mostly preferring to spend time alone or with his mates. it has little to no patience for niceties or etiquette, which he sees as largely pointless. if he's tired of being around you, they can and will just walk away, or bluntly tell you to leave.
nero also almost never takes the helmet off, and when it does, usually only around chikku and banda. |

 nero | he/they/itnero grew up in a small clan in the shrieking wilds, but he had some grand ambitions. a series of questionable decisions and regrettable mistakes led to nero being exiled from his clan, and their ambitions and ego being severely humbled. they moved to an abandoned castle in dragonhome. it was already overgrown to begin with, but nero's presence has sent the plants' growth into overdrive, due to the half-sentient plant demon living in his body. all things considered, life is pretty chill for nero. even if having vines coming out of its mouth, right eye, and threatening to poke out from between his ribs is kind of uncomfortable. but we ball. |
i really really love nero and i like actually got so unbelievably hype when i saw the theme was eldritch. like you don't understand dude i popped the hell off. look at him look at my boy he's got plant diseases. its also xxy eldritch/dust if that adds anything
