Story Firstborn of the Clan's progenitors, Casiel had no idea of the years and the journey that was before him when he and his sister hatched. He was a curious youngling, but also very confrontational, and often went to seek danger, much to his mother's dismay. He always had great respect for her, even as a hatchling. Through the years Casiel watched as faces came and went. He himself stayed and has always felt that his heart was in the Clan, his place beside its leaders and his mother. The feeling solidified when his father went to the Shadowbinder's war. Although she did not show it, Casiel knew that his mother had never felt more alone, and he knew he could never leave her. Casiel has always been a part of the Clan's inner circle, but he has never wanted to be a leader. Rather, he uses his raw strength to be a protector and a guardian of those who needs it. He has stood by his mother's side always, and now stands by his sister's. He takes great pride in protecting the lair from outsiders and attackers, and the Clan is safe because of him. Grown up, Casiel is a lot quieter and restrained than he was in his youth. But his calm demeanor can easily deceive, and the age-old dragon is a more capable fighter than he lets on. The years might have dampened his temper, but never his spirit.
