HISTORY
Hati came to Wynberry Ravine after an accident left her wandering the Windswept Plains, missing memories of most of her adult life. The healers did what they could, but days and weeks passed and her memories did not return.
Ruby, one of the members of the clan, offered to let Hati stay with her until she figured out what to do next. She accepted and the two became fast friends. Surrounded by Ruby’s sweet dogs and her energetic care, Hati started to feel a bit better. She still had a lot to figure out, but she was going to be okay.
A few months passed. Hati continued to adjust to her new life. She made more friends. One of them, Creamsicle, helped run the daycare. She occasionally joined him in entertaining the young hatchlings and found that she enjoyed it.
She decided that she wanted to stay in the clan, and that she wanted to become a teacher. Ruby was ecstatic when she found out, scooping up both Hati and the puppy Hati had found and brought home a few weeks prior and twirling them around.
It took time to fulfill her wish. She had to go to school and learn everything she’d need to know in order to teach her students. She spent a few years as an aide to teachers of various age levels. Ruby was with her through all of it. Though it was originally meant to be a temporary solution, Hati never ended up moving out, and one day she realized that she had come to think of Ruby and the dogs and their house as her home. Ruby agreed. Over the years their bond had grown, and Ruby couldn’t imagine not having her around anymore. It was decided that Hati would stay.
Nearly 10 years later, Hati is content. Some things have changed - there are a few new dogs, a son named Midnight who is very loved, a garden in addition to Ruby’s already plentiful houseplants - but the peace and comfort they have made together stays the same.
