Lysantha 'Lyse' Muriot

For better or for worse, Lysantha is the most vocal of Luma's opponents. She was raised in extreme poverty, and developed an immense desire to be a voice for those who could not, or would not, speak for themselves. Her moral compass points the right direction, but she doesn't excel at finding good ways to press her points, more prone to giving in to her temper and arguing than finding common ground. Still, her dedication to the 'little man' has given her credence within the community and support from several members. In comparison to Luma, she's a shining beacon of fairness, fighting for a semi-democracy.

Lyse's intentions are certainly pure, but beneath the surface, there's a pull of power she can't resist. The situations life has put her in have made her want more-- security, safety, good health. Her determination to achieve these things, and hold tightly to them, may well end up compromising those morals, or even cast them aside entirely. Time will tell as her struggle to dethrone Luma increases in intensity and risk.
