______ While not herself a Shadowborn dragon, Derse quickly established herself as just as cunning as any born in the domain she now calls home. Having moved to the Shadow domain long ago, she all but immediately began preparing to stake her claim on the domain with her mate. Almost as soon as they’d settled into their new territory, they’d had their first nest, one of many to come.

______ Before long, the two, along with their offspring, made their first of many bids to take power from the current family in power. While it ended in failure and being driven off, back to their own territory, it was the beginning of many years of conflict between the two families, still ongoing to this day. Most members of the families are still locked in constant bouts of off and on combat, neither side wanting to relent.
