Biography
Growing up, Fragment wasn't sure if they were alive or real. Memories come to them, but they can't possibly all be theirs. They were not a fae hatchling in fire flight, but they have memories of burning as one did. They were not an aging guardian in light, but they know the agony of losing one's charge all the same.
Fragment is a collection memories, painful memories, from times long past. Fragment cannot remember how they grew up, will sometimes forget their age or name or breed, and can often become overwhelmed by the memories of the lost, especially near a place of remembrance or a memorial.
The Moonlit Refuge is a city in which they feel safe. The spirits are mostly calm and quiet. Those dragons who have shrieking souls connected to them are easy to avoid. For the first time, Fragment has started to feel like themselves, or the closest they can get to it. They can often be found enjoying tea at The Mists cafe, or curled up reading in [something something] bookstore. They prefer mystery and romance novels, which help them feel emotions of their own. They're starting to figure out who they are and what they like.
Given their connections to the dead, they have a lot of knowledge of religion and ceremonies both ongoing and lost to time. Fragment finds the spirits surrounding them are less bothered when surrounded by familiarity, and Fragment finds their own kind of peace performing ceremonies with guidelines and structure.
Fragment takes care of everything from funeral and exaltation rites, to tying mates together with a red string ceremony.
