Biography
Emper can often be seen surrounded by admiring flock members, all white teeth and smooth purr.
Emper met Ephis as a young adult, equally as frightened by the overwhelming responsibilities of a highborn imperial dragon determined to set itself apart. Having what seemed like everything in common, they quickly became comrades; two against the world, ride or die. They singlehandedly manipulated the system to their will, learning and employing every trick in the book over a series of decades. By the end of their ordeal by ice, they were champion overlords - no longer confined by any limitation but their own imagination.

"HIT ME!" The towering emperor roared, spittle flying from between his colossal incisors. With a CRACK he sent the much smaller hatchling cowering to the ground - wings raised to protect its delicate features.
"Pes, pes." The younger dragon crooned, attempting to appease the agitated giant, doing everything in its power to disappear.
"You're WEAK. A weak dragon will die, Erl, they will fall beneath the hooves of wild horses and be eaten by scurvy mirrors." He snarled, every scale on his impressive frame raised to make him appear, if at all possible, larger than life. He was an incredible specimen, much larger than the average dragon, a striking, brilliant red that seemed to burn from within with a pulsing strength and with a stature that proclaimed his royalty. A true prince.
"Pes, Agar, I do not wish to fight. I am not a soldier, I am your brother." Erl whimpered.
"BROTHER? Please, I'd sooner share blood with a fish. You're nothing. Nothing." Erl flinched, glancing over his own pathetic, skeletal body. Faded pink, "like a young, unhealthy rose; a runny nose; a late morning." his brother had said. More like a blush forever present to proclaim his shame. With a final puff, Agar took off - shooting through the sky with such grace, such esteem, such stamina.
'Tonight', thought Erl, 'I will die.'
