bio ❧ It's no secret that Effluvial Crows and their Lesser variants are very divided. Often times encounters and associations lead to violence, and Effluvials being the dominant species, are even said to hunt Lessers when possible. For years Lunen has taken great care to stay out of their way, else he become another target. He's kept that up for such a long time. At least, until he met Cabazai. Cabazai was an Effluvial willing to give him a second glance. He cared enough to associate with Lunen, get to know him, and see beyond the fact that he wasn't born as an Effluvial. Lunen was even invited to join a cause that the other was trying to promote, to decrease the gap between the groups and unite them. With this unity, they could achieve so much more and become even stronger. Such a society, while ideal, sounded unachievable. But if it meant Lunen could be part of something greater than himself, if he could be important and not have to fear his Effluvial cousins, what did he have to lose? Of course this entire thing is easier said than done, and recruiting crows to join without violence has proven extremely difficult. Cabazai protected Lunen, even allowing him to be an ambassador, to speak with other Lessers and hopefully make it clear that their intentions aren't to kill "inferior crows". Still the mistrust remains, but Lunen tries his best and his efforts have been successful in some cases. Getting crows to join their side is even more of a challenge, though, but they've gotten several recruits over time. Crows of different variants who have common beliefs and negative experiences with the divisive society. Sadly they have yet to get another Effluvial in the group, so that leaves Cabazai as the only one. But Lunen, as corny as it may sound, is focused on the quality of every member. So long as they're committed and productive, the size of the group isn't as important.

trivia ❧ - his name comes from the dromaeosaurid "unenlagia paynemili".' - cabazai's right hand man, basically - lunen doesn't just speak with lessers. he also speaks with representatives of other clans, even outside of crow society, and makes negotiations if cabazai deems them useful. - kind of a suckup to cabazai, not because cabazai is cruel or anything but because he's an effluvial who put their differences aside and made an effort to work with him. whether or not cabazai actually cares about lunen as a dragon or not is another thing. but lunen treats him like someone "above" other dragons which is kind of against the point cabazai is supposedly trying to make, but the effluvial doesn't acknowledge that at all. - when they met cabazai was a high-ranking soldier in the midnight seclusion with a task to deal with in the scarred wasteland. he's taken the position as a commander of one of the factions (capital guard is considered "elite" status in that clan, so a commander is "elite of the elite") in the clan's guard forces. lunen was initially against this, but was convinced to aid him because the effluvial believed that being in such a position may make others take him more seriously and get his name out there.
