Vulx(thinking): Hmm. I need to change my looks. Uhh What about scales, that sounds normal. Whaa- How did that turn me purple it says here that it just adds scales.... Ugh. Hmm well, what about this "keel" one. Wha- now I am ugly and purple! Why do I keep ending up purple. I swear this predict morphology thing is broken... Oh well, I don't really like purple but at least I won't be recognized. Lets see, what other tertiary genes sound cool... Hmm, contour looks kinda neat. It gives me a stripe. Also turns me purple but I don't think I can get away from that... For some reason. WHOA. Thylacine is EPIC. Okay I am totally going with that. I wonder where I can buy it. Still purple though, I wonder whats causing that.

Now on to secondary I guess. What do I have right now. Oh, alloy. An alloy is a type of metal so I guess thats why my wings are all metallic. Hm this seraph one looks neat but I am not so sure... Ehh Idk maybe I will just keep it alloy. Theres probs tons of dragons with grey metallic looking wings anyway...


Ohh primary. Thats whats supposed to change my body gene. Maybe if I change it I won't look purple any- WHA IT JUST MADE ME LIGHT PURPLE. They all make me a more vibrant purple?! Am I seriously a purple dragon? Oh gosh this lionfish one makes me pink... Why...



A small fae in the background: Ugh, sir, I am sorry to bug you, I am sure you have much more important duties here at the spiral keep to attend to, but, this little guardian. His colors don't match and he is getting bullied at his daycare about it. I tried showing him all the different genes hoping he would pick one but he keeps crying.

Pearlcatcher scholar: Hmm, well I think your colors are lovely little guy! I suggest staying the way you are, but when you grow up if you still don't like it you could try and get a tri-color scatterscroll. That would change all your colors.

The fae: There is something that can change colors! wow I never kn--

Pearlcatcher- Ahh- oh. hello there, a tricolor scatterscroll. Quite rare to come by, but it will change your colors completely.

Vulx: Is- is it permanent?

Pearlcatcher- why yes. Don't use one unless you are sure about wanting to change your colors.

Pearlcatcher: well, nowhere particular but sometimes you can find traders selling them or auctioning them off. They are quite rare.

Vulx: Hi sir! sir! ugh he can't hear me. Oh Ma'am, do you happen to have a- Why does this place have to be so packed. Oh this stand says they sell genes and things, maybe they will know where I can get a scatterscroll. Sir! sir?

Guardian: Yes, what are you looking for. We have a fine array of gene scrolls here!

Vulx: Uhh actually I am looking for a tri-color scatterscroll. Do you happen to know where I can purchase one of these. I have been looking for awhile but so far no luck.

Guardian: I am all out of scatterscrolls, but I know someone who tends to have them in stock. Let me get you a map to their shop.

Vulx: Why thank you so much!

Vulx (thinking): Alright where are we going. We are here in Flotsam Town, and we seem to need to go northwest to the Wandering cont- wait a second this seems like a bad idea. That's in Plague territory that seems like somewhere I really shouldn't go. Errrrr- how badly do I need this scroll..... Uhh I guess I will think on this plan some more....

Later that day
Vulx: Okay, I am in water territory right now, and this shop is on the edge of plague's territory closest to arcane. The smartest plan may be to travel through wind and arcane territories to limit my time in plague. Well, I guess its time to start heading west.
