Biography

Everyone in her family knew the stories, from generation to generation they had heard them passed down. Every family has their stories . Veil didn't need anyone to recall the stories to her though. She had the distinct privilege of hearing them from those who were a bit closer to them. You see there is a veil between the world of the living and the dead. Some glimpse through with or without knowing it, if only when it is at it's thinnest. Certain days, certain hours. Not Veil though, there was never a doubt, she was gifted. Part of that gift was communing with spirits.
‘Long ago, in dramatic ancient times so long ago Sornieth didn't even exist, our bloodline was cursed. Up to the first generation, traceable by the mother on the mother's side. She was given a noble and yet brilliant task, to guard something of the utmost importance. However, she failed, and betrayed the Shadowbinder, and as punishment, she was told that her lineage would die out, and become no more. This broke her heart, but there was nothing to be done. Generations later, Moonweaver, she and her mate, Soulthief, saved our line. Together, they had eleven hatchlings, and begged the Shadowbinder for forgiveness, and forgiveness was given, under one condition. They couldn't have any more hatchlings. Like the dragon before her, Moonweaver was heartbroken, but she sacrificed this heavy payment, and but now our line is saved. that is why it is they say, like those before us we must continue our line for as long as we can.
Sometimes she would get the distinct impression, of something more being said, almost as if directly to her. ' Of course you know dear, don't you? We all have a part to play. So you must make your own fate.’
