Lt. Serilla Dartwood has landed a shinier career than her brother, as she likes to boast whenever the topic comes up - or even when it does not. Sporting the lieutenant rank in the Shrouded Militia, she already enjoys recognition in Shadow's more serious circles, but her eyes are always set on the next step of the ladder. Blodwen sometimes snarls that she won't rest until she pins a general's badge on her lapel, and he isn't wrong one bit.

Her favourite thing about the job is planning battle strategy. Surveillance, tactics, and finely wrought operations are her world. You would be mistaken to seek chess, the staple of strategical minds all over the galaxy, on her list of favourite pastimes, however. In fact, you would likely offend this Mirror - for she sees games of such nature as a crude oversimplification of the real battlefield, lacking all the nuance, chaos and bloodshed of a genuine battle. For all her careerist thinking, Serilla merely sees her underlings as inferior in skill or ambition, but never disposable like chess pieces. She will do all her position allows to minimize the losses on her side. That's at least what she proclaims, but how well do such goals hold up in a full-blown war?
