Lore

The mechanism on her wings is what got her into inventing. When Zumi hatched from her egg, her parents know something was wrong. Her wings were paralyzed, meaning she couldn't move them and would never be able to fly. All the dragons treated her like she was weak and fragile. The hatchling felt alone, like everyone had given up on the "poor broken dragon." When I found her and brought her home, she met the clan's inventor, Yagi and they became friends. Zumi would help out in the inventing lab and found that she had a gift for tinkering. Together, Yagi and Zumi came up with a plan. A plan to prove all the dragons who doubted Zumi wrong. They made a machine that allowed Zumi to move her wings. Although she can't fly for more than a few minutes, she felt triumphant and continues to help Yagi make genius (and also kind of crazy) inventions.
