Solaire of Astora is one of the countless undead of Lordran who worship the gods, particularly Gwyn. Though Gwyn's firstborn son has been erased from the annals of history, he is still worshipped by the noble Warriors of the Sun, whom he watches over and protects from afar. Solaire is one such Warrior, and a jovial one at that. There's no doubt that his unshakable faith in his god is what has kept him sane for however long he has been undead. The singular goal of his order is to help those in need by leaving signs by which to summon them.

Talismans are used to cast miracles borne from faith. Solaire possesses a special one, the Sunlight Talisman. Perhaps he received it as a gift from the god of war himself as a token of the covenant?
In order to be sure they will be well-equipped, the nameless god grants his Warriors knowledge of lightning miracles, allowing them to hurl great spears of lightning just as mighty Gwyn had in the dragon war.
