Once Upon a Time in Mexico

Sands is not a dragon to be trifled with. He is clinically psychotic and will do whatever it takes to achieve the ends he desires. He has a sharp tongue and a quick mind. He worked with a powerful yet secretive organization in his past, but quickly learned that they would offer him no protection and leave him to die (or finish the job themselves) if he became a liability. He has long since disassociated with them, and they believe him to be dead. He met El when Sands recruited him to do a “job” for him, and it was hardly love at first sight. Sands wrenched him violently from the relative peace he had found for himself after years of fighting and thrust him back into the viper’s den. He promised El revenge, however, and gave it to him. El swore never to fight side-by-side with Sands again.
Shortly after this, Sands was captured for his part in aforementioned “job,” and his eyes were gouged out and left to die. El found him by accident, sitting amidst the scattered bodies of those who took his sight from him but not his mind. Yet he was still vulnerable and dying, brutally injured and spirit broken. Against El’s better judgement, he took him someplace safe where he could have his wounds tended to and learn to live again. Sands, begrudgingly at first, allowed El to care for him and revealed his vulnerabilities. He allowed his wall of sarcastic barbs and thorny demeanor lower enough to allow El in, and before he knew it he had carved out his own personal place in Sands’ heart. El is the only dragon Sands can relax around and allow himself to be loved.

He also is a very skilled sculptor, he can make near any image and has never had anything blow up in the kiln. He likes to add indentations or circles into most of his designs to put himself into his work. Its incredibly different than his past, and its almost telling his ex-employers to get wrecked by being happy.
He is often caught humming to himself tunes that no one else has heard before but he always says he never makes his own songs. El wants to ask him about what he hums but hasn't yet.
He absolutely hates hates hates getting wet, and will do near anything to avoid it. Rainy days lead him to be indoors the entire time and nothing will get him to go out.
His favorite food is also black licorice and black jellybeans.
