Orchid is a mysterious young Veilspun that seems to never age, trapped within a magical stasis in the depths of the Tangled Wood. In exchange for her diminutive form, she wields magic the likes of which most Ice and Shadow dragons have never seen. Orchid has been observed:
  • Encasing entire swaths of forest within ice. Anything within one of these "shells" will be frozen in time until the ice dissipates. It is rumored that this magic has a connection to Orchid's eternal youth.
  • Protecting travelers from hostile creatures by creating walls of ice that follow them until they have reached safety.
  • Conjuring intricate ice crystals that travelers say look like pale blue eyes emerging from the woods.
