Biography

Cicero tramped through the snow. He wondered why he was all the way out in the ice territory. The wind blew snow into his face and Cicero thought he was going to freeze. He walked through the snow keeping his wings close to his body. A noise came from above and Cicero jumped. A blueish purple Nocturne stood at the top on an ice cliff. It looked at Cicero and then disappeared. Cicero blinked and continued through the snow.

Lore

After a few hours Cicero came across a small clan. Cicero looked in the cave. A small purplish fae greeted him. The fae looked similar to the nocturne he had seen earlier. Cicero walked into the cave and a few other dragons appeared. “Hello traveler.” A big orange fae said. “I am Inferno. I am the leader here. What is your business here in the BlueFire clan. “ the fae said. “Oh... I was just wandering... looking for a new clan.” Cicero said shivering. “What is your name?” “Cicero.” Cicero said. “Well Cicero. We’d be happy to take you in.” Inferno said. “Novis. Make him comfortable.” He said to the small nervous fae. The fae nodded and showed Cicero to a nice little nest. The fae looked at Cicero her eyes pleading. “What? What is it Novis?” Cicero asked. “Don’t call me that.” She whispered. “Oh. What should I call you?” “Shapeshifter. Please.” “Ok. What’s wrong Shapeshifter?” “Inferno captured me a year ago. He won’t let me leave. My power...” Shapeshifter said with tears beginning to run down her face. “Your power?” Cicero asked. Shapeshifter nodded. “You’ll see. Inferno is a terrible leader. He wants to kill the Icewarden. He wants to melt the ice kingdom all because of some argument. Have you seen that no one here is an ice dragon? They were all killed.” “You’re an ice dragon.” Cicero pointed out. “I’m the only one because of...” Shapeshifter whispered. Inferno popped his head in the cave. “Have you gotten Cicero all adjusted Novis?” He asked. Shapeshifter flinched and nodded. Inferno flew in and touched Ciceros shoulder. “I’m sure you’ll find a good place here.” He said. Cicero nodded. “Thank you so much for taking me in.” Cicero said half-heartedly. Inferno grinned and walked out of the room.

Late that night Cicero was woken by a scrabbling sound. A purple banescale stared at him. Cicero was about to call out when the banescale covered his mouth. “Shh. Don’t wake them. “ the banescale whispered. “Shapeshifter?”” Cicero whispered. The banescale nodded. “I need to tell you something.” Shapeshifter whispered glancing around to make sure no one else heard. “Ok. What do you need?” Cicero murmured. “Help me escape. Please. I can’t live here anymore! It would be best for you to leave to. You might fall under his spell like everyone else.” Shapeshifter whined. “Ok. Ok. I’ll help.” “Thank you!” Shapeshifter whispered. Shapeshifter had just crawled to her bed when Inferno poked his head in. He walked over to Cicero. “Hey! Still awake? I gets cold here so I don’t blame you for being unable to sleep.” Inferno said. “Why do you like living out here?” Cicero asked. “Ha... funny reasons. You’ll see.” “Ooookkkk...” Cicero said. “Good Night Cicero.” Inferno said walking out of the room. Shapeshifter was in her nest shivering. Cicero went over to her and covered her with his wings. “I’ll take care of you. I promise.” He whispered.

Early the next morning Inferno called the clan for some battle training. There were about 30 dragons in the clan. Shapeshifter huddled close to the wall of the cave with Cicero protecting her. “You seem to have taken a liking to Novis.” Inferno commented. “That could be good....” he murmured walking away. Cicero looked at the ground and Shapeshifter whispered into his ear. “Do you know what happens to any ice eggs he finds? He kills them. That’s why so few hatchlings are born here. He only wants me to have a mate so more hatchlings with my power are born.” Cicero stared at Shapeshifter. Shapeshifter sighed. “It’s ok.” Cicero comforted. Shapeshifter smiled at him. Inferno called them over to the center of the cave. “Novis. I want to see you fight.” Inferno called. “Cicero. Just watch. Ardor. Your up!” A red, orange, and gold male skydancer stood up and faced Shapeshifter. Shapeshifter snarled. She hated Ardor. He was worse than Inferno sometimes. Ardor grinned and shot a blast of fire at Shapeshifter. Shapeshifter closed her eyes and rose up as an imperial. She growled and smacked Ardor with her tail. Ardor was smacked against the wall. When he rose up he shot another fireball and it hit shapeshifter in the chest. She cried out in pain and transformed into a banescale. She looked up at Ardor and shot out of the cave. Cicero followed. “I can’t take it anymore!” Shapeshifter cried. Inferno snarled and breathed fire at Cicero. Cicero flopped on his back and shot lightning at Inferno. “Go go go Shapeshifter!” Cicero cried. He flipped back over and flew away with Shapeshifter in his tail.

Cicero and Shapeshifter traveled for days on end. They finally arrived at a nice beach. A fisherman told them there was a clan who took in many dragons down in the sea. Cicero and Shapeshifter looked at each other and agreed that they should go. They dove down into the water and swam to their new home.
