I was personally a bit surprised to find out our resident glassmaking expert was actually Ice. I always figured it would be a Lightning or maybe a Fire thing, but it turns out he doesn't use much magic for his work anyway.

He's a bit, how do I put this kindly - Idiosyncratic? He hates loud noises and open spaces and complicated flavor profiles (I guess when you were raised almost entirely on whale blubber and raw liver your palette doesn't get very refined). He suffers from involuntary echopractic howling (Which means if you start howling he goes into an uncontrollable howling rage. This isn't as funny as it sounds because he works with a lot of dangerous chemicals). He likes to hide out in his little library or in the observatory where he can watch the stars in a comfortable cramped darkness.

There's a whole story about how he ended up in our clan - His family was sworn to serve the Icewarden and he was basically doomed to be trapped in the Southern Icefields until [ED: Redacted] found out about his predicament and staged a daring escape! Now he's forever barred from returning in case a bunch of Gaolers arrest him and drag him away. He's not really upset about that because he likes it here, though. He's still covered in runes, though, signaling his family's boundage under the Icewarden, and some of his daughters have it too. I wonder what they would do with them?

Considering how much time he spends at work I don't know how he's managed to find so many partners.
