One of the bigger guardians, Willow was appointed town hatchlingsitter as he's big enough to keep hatchlings corralled. He may pretend to dislike his job, but watching him interact with young dragons makes it clear how much he enjoys looking after the hatchlings.

Willow spends his spare time lazing around and pretending to be asleep in the middle of the square. If he's in a good mood, which he usually is, he lets the hatchlings and some of his smaller friends crawl over him. His best friend and long-term mate is Luna.
"Now pay attention, hatchlings. Willow is going to show you how to prank someone using only some honey, a bowl, and a fear of bees."
